When flying the last thing you must worry about in efficiency of the airplane. There are many things to think about during the flight, managing it, the radio communications, keep the desired heading and many more. Our planes are held in efficiency by our mechanics in excellent way. All the programmed maintenances are carried out with the maximum and rigid care. If the airplane has possible problems, it is immediately grounded and put in maintenance.
Every aircraft is checked daily with the daily scheduled maintenance, subsequently the other programmed maintenances are every 25 hours, 50 hours, 100 hours, 200 hours, 500 hours, 1000 hours, 2000 hours. Every type of maintenance has one series of controls and parts substitutions. Example the airframe after 2000 hours must be taken apart completely and controlled with X-Ray beams in order to verify if there are present cracks or leaks. The motor after 2000 hours approximately reaches the TBO (beforeTime overhaul) and must completely be disembarked and be overhauled

All parts must be of sure and known origin and certified by the aeronautical authorities of origin. Every piece must be catalogued with complete history from the purchase with all the historical breakdowns. In our workshop parts are catalogue and stored in our database for a fast search and availability.
Our mechanics, Danilo Pecora, Adriano Giorgi, Maurizio Porro and Filippo Faglioni hold in perfect efficiency all aircrafts of the club, from the ordinary maintenance uo to the complete restructure of an airplane that have reached up the hours for which a complete overhaul is need it. Here below the two pipers amphibious PA18 completely restored as new by our mechanics.
