Become member of the club
Do you want to become a pilot? You can enroll to the Aero
Club Como and obtain a JAR-PPL licence and seaplane rating
at the same time. You can then take off from the waters of
the lago of Como from right in the center of the city for
all possible destinations, on land, with amphibians or on
water with the seaplanes. As a student pilot you are entitled
of a reduced membership fee until the obtaining of the licence.

For pilots with licence: SEP-SEA ratings
Many pilots come to Como to obtain the seaplane rating.
For those that are use to take off and land from a runway, water
element require tecniques that are different. Our school is
specialized in ratings, from all over Europe and other countries
come to us to get trained by our professional instructors. In
addition to the seaplane rating it is possible to enjoy the
beautiful scenery of Como lake. For more information visit the

OnLine payments
We have activated an E-Commerce cart; payments
of yearly dues, hourly rates and gadget purchases, can be
done directly from our site, at the moment in italian only
but pretty simple and understandable. To do so, you must access
the section PRICE LIST and select what you are interested
in and ADD TO CART. Is not necessary to be suscribed to PayPal.

News and events
In this page we will publish all the news and events
of the aero club Como. The Club participates to many aeronautical
events or just fly-ins around Europe where the presence of
a seaplane generates interest. Our hangar often hosts cultural

It's active our WEBCAM from the fron of the hangar showing
the situation on the "runway" and the area. To view

 New cessna 172
Arrived in flight but hung to an helicopter the new
Cessna 172 with registration I-PVLC; it was acquired not long
ago and it's been added to our fleet with a set of new floats
EDO 2130. Therefore the fleet of 172 for the school returned
to be composed of 4 airplanes. See the photographic

 Sleeping lodge
Is active the sleeping lodge of the club. The premises have been restructure with all the comforts as a good hotel but in an aeronautical style; the main camerade consists in 6 bunk beds with personal cabinet and one double bed room. The living room is equipped with satellite and color television. This service is in exclusive use to the family and pilots who comes to the Aero Club of Como in order to obtain the rating and to maintain it.
