For licenced pilots SEP(Land) that wishes to fly on seaplanes need to get the seaplane ratings SEP(sea) achievable at our base. SEP(sea) consist is a series of flights with instructors and a ground preparation, specific for water flying.

Every year many pilots arrive in Como at the Aero Club Como SPB to achieve the SEP (sea) rating and return frequently to mantain the rating current and to fly around the beautiful sorroundings of the Como lake. Some pilots came to fly by us, in the first picture the itailan astronaut Maurizio Cheli and his wife one of the many rated by us,

In the lower picture, captain Frank Suger retired from the glorious TWA. He achieve the SEP(sea) rating by us during his frequent stop overs from his flights at Malpensa airport flying the Jumbo 747.

Like Cheli, Suger many professional pilots get rated by us at the Aero Club Como SPB and return to stay current.
